Meet the author
Ken Larsen
Ken Larsen has worked in the restoration industry since 1978. His experience spans independent contracting, technical consulting on major-loss and catastrophe drying projects, expert witness work, and professional education.
A recipient of the 32nd RIA Martin L. King Award, Ken is the author of Leadership in Restorative Drying — Gold Edition. His teaching experience includes IICRC WRT, ASD, and CDS courses and RIA’s advanced restoration credentials.
His leadership roles include Senior Technical Director of the International Dry Standard Organization, Director of Education for the Restoration Leadership Institute, and lead consultant for the Restoration Expert Panel and DryStandard Inspections.
